Hej Allihoppa!

First of all, so sorry because I writing in English, but I moved just 2 moths ago to Stockholm, and my Swedish is not so good.
I used to keep dart frogs between 2008 and 2010, but I moved to England and sold all my frogs :(
I kept D. leucomelas, D. truncatus and P. vittatus. I successfully breed D. truncatus, I love this frogs :)

Now I'm in Sweden and finally set up my first vivarium. It is a small (30x30x45) exo-terra.
Now I'm waiting to the plants grow, and I still need some plants and wood replace the huge Tillandsia.

I have 4 lovely R. amazonica "French Guyana" from BengtO.
Probably 2 male and 2 female. One of the male calling all the time.
When they are move in the terrarium, I can start to make an another vivarium for my next frogs.

I really like the small Ranitomeya species, and also Oophagas :)
My dream is having a couple of R. histrionica or O. lehmanni.
But definitely my next dream goal will be R. sirensis "Highland".

Have a lovely day to everyone ;)

ps: sorry for the bad quality of pics :)

Hi and welcome in the Swedish dart frog community. Since you are based in Stockholm, maybe we'll meet at the frog day on March 28? It will be arranged in Stockholm, just for your convenience. ;)

Hej,

I thinking to buy a rack to keep my future vivariums. What do you think about this?

Anyone using this?

Tack!

It's almost same as the old IKEA shelf "IVAR" which is proven to be stable and work with terrariums. Either way both should have some water resistant paint or varnish.

Maybe not so fancy but practical is this one 120kg each shelf level and laminated. But the shelf body is made of bent sheet metal and is maybe something you not want in your livingroom.

Thanks HåkanP!
I had similar metal shelf when I lived in hungary. I was happy with this, but maybe now is more heavy for me. I prefer something wood.

Do not use that shelf to the terrarium. It is wobbly and of poor quality material. It is much worse than the shelf "Ivar" as Hakan mentions.
